Originally released on Voodoo Rhythm in 2015, Rolando Bruno’s Bailazo is full-blast psychedelic Latino cumbia garage. Fuzzed-out guitars, vintage rhythms, and the cheesy charm of a 70’s supermarket soundtrack collide in pure DIY madness. Cumbia warped through psych, exotica, and garage rock chaos. From the Asian-flavoured freakout of “Thai Cumbia” to the Turkish-twisted groove of “Falafel King”  everything gets thrown into the Rolando Bruno shredder. Dusty. Psychedelic. Unhinged.
